TEAM is run by volunteers from educational, business, professional and international backgrounds. We each use our skills in different areas such as organising conferences, study tours, CPD events and fundraising. Laurence Smy
Laurence is a graduate in History and Theology of the University of Cambridge. He became the Headmaster of Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School in Marlow. Subsequently he worked for UCAS and was director of United Westminster Schools. He is currently a working member of The Council of Christian-Muslim Relations (CCMR), High Wycombe and contributes to seminars at the Middle East Studies Centre in Oxford. He is a member of several think-tanks including The Global Policy Institute and the Wyndham Place Charlemagne Trust.

Antony Frost
Antony has run a successful business in the horticultural industry and joined TEAM because of his lifelong interest in world affairs. He holds a degree from the University of London, was a parliamentary candidate in 1999 and is a member of numerous think-tanks including: The Federal Trust, The Global Policy Institute, The Wyndham Place Charlemagne Trust and Unlock Democracy. He has organised numerous study tours, in the course of which, he has worked closely with leaders of Brussels Lobby groups and senior personnel in the European Union.

Kevin McSharry
Kevin served 42 years in Secondary Education, latterly as the Head teacher of a large Catholic High School in north-west London. His passions are history, travel (recently went to Brazil) and international relations.

John Wilson
John has an MA in International Relations from the University of Southern California. After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, he taught first in Iowa and then became history and economics teacher at the American School in London. John now runs an outreach program sponsored by the American School of London speaking to schools and community groups on American history and politics.

Graeme was the Finance Director for a fine food company and formerly the company secretary and financial controller for a listed company.

Keith Best
Keith Best TD, MA, Cert in Public Management Services, is Chair of the Charity Forum and several organisations, including Wyndham Place Charlemagne Trust, Universal Peace Federation (UK), and St Nazaire Raid Memorial Trust. He serves as PCC Secretary at St James’s Piccadilly, advises boards, and is a trustee of multiple trusts. A published author and keynote speaker, he lectures internationally. Fluent in French and Welsh, he’s married with two daughters. A barrister, former MP for Anglesey/Ynys Môn and former CEO of major charities, he’s been recognised among the UK’s top 100 public service influencers.

Dr. Daryl Kenny
Dr. Daryl Kenny is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Winchester. He worked as a police officer in Canada and the UK for over thirty years and is interested in international studies particularly around policing and criminal justice matters. He became involved with TEAM after attending one of their study tours to Brussels.

Alexander Kenny
Alexander is a Senior Management Consultant within Capgemini Invents Public sector team. Passionate about driving positive change and innovation to public safety clients he regularly combines his interest in global affairs, emerging technology, and ethics, with his years of experience in business transformation and strategy to identify, design, and deliver value for his clients.

Chris Poray
Chris is a graduate from the University of East Anglia in International Relations and Modern History (Hons) and MSc Economics and International Relations student at UEA. He now works as a trainee at the European Space Agency. He was the Project Manager in a nationwide marketing campaign across the top universities in the UK, as well as the Research Manager for the TEAM Global Research Project. Since being a part of TEAM's Brussels Study Tour and Members' Day in 2018 he has been involved in the charity.

Irina Cristache
Irina brings together her passion for technology and creativity as a Lead UX Designer at BSI. With a background spanning consultancy and in-house roles, she has played a key role in enhancing the user experience for global organisations and public sector services. Since relocating to the UK in 2013 for her studies, Irina has fully embraced life in London. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, playing tennis, and writing.

Ashley Dudley
Ashley studied at the University of East Anglia, being awarded a MSCi in Biochemistry and later a PhD in Biomolecular Science, publishing his original work on novel cancer therapeutics. Ashley has since changed fields, working as a postdoctoral researcher at the world-renowned John Innes Centre, NBI, focusing on food security with fundamental research in photosynthesis. Ashley joined TeamGlobal in 2021 with interests in science-related policy and social mobility, and is now a TeamGlobal strategy member.

Mike Salem
Mike is a political consultant and a campaign strategist. Originally from Syria, he moved to the UK in 2015 and completed his studies here, graduating from the LSE. Mike has a keen interest in foreign affairs, as well as intelligence and defence, drawing from his experiences in the Middle East.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys a game of tennis, plays the bassoon in an orchestra, and sits on the governing body of a local school.
